Lite mode (Android)

For anyone who just wants to chat and call — no channels, no feeds, no bots, no extras. Lite mode strips the interface down to personal chats, groups, and calls, WhatsApp-style.

Currently available on Android only.

Where to switch it on

• On first launch — Right after registration, the app asks you to pick a mode — "Full messenger" or "Chats and calls only."
• Any time later — Settings → Appearance → App mode — switch back and forth any time, no re-registration and no data loss.

What's still there

• Personal chats — All the regular messaging tools — attachments, voice messages, reactions, search.
• Groups — Group chats work fully, same as in the full mode.
• Audio and video calls — 1:1 and group calls work with no restrictions.

What's hidden from the interface

Channels, Stories, bots, business accounts, the news feed, and the rest aren't deleted from your account — they're just hidden from the interface so they don't get in the way. Switching back to "Full messenger" brings all of it back immediately.

Who it's for

People setting the app up for relatives, or for anyone who finds a large feature set overwhelming — a simple interface with no extra sections, just what's needed for everyday messaging.
