A story is a photo or video that followers see for a limited time before it disappears. WallyMates has both personal stories and channel stories — with separate analytics for channel owners.

Viewing

• Grouped by author — Different people's stories show up as separate groups instead of one continuous feed — it's clear whose stories you're watching.
• One reaction per person — You can leave one reaction per story — simple, with no spam of the same emoji repeated.
• Screenshots allowed — A story can be saved with a screenshot — no system block and no notice sent to the author.

For the author

• Who viewed it — A list of everyone who watched your story, with the time they viewed it.
• Pin to profile — A story can be pinned to your profile permanently (it stops expiring) — that's exactly what builds the "Showcase."
• Channel stories — A channel owner can publish stories as the channel itself, separate from personal ones — with their own view stats.

A dedicated block on a profile that collects pinned stories and a personal channel — a quick way to surface what matters without scrolling through a feed of posts.

Privacy

Who can see your stories is set separately in profile privacy, the same way as the rest of your profile's visibility.
